Zollner Enters Asia

The German electronics manufacturer has joined forces with Thailand-based Bluechips Microhouse

Zollner is growing in Asia with a new partnership. The German electronics manufacturer has joined forces with Thailand-based Bluechips Microhouse, a family-owned company with 650 employees. Founded in 1999, Bluechips has a strong presence across Europe, the Americas, and Asia-Pacific.

This joint venture will lead to new tech investments, like building a cleanroom, allowing both companies to improve service for their global customers.

Zollner aims to buy the remaining shares of Bluechips by late 2025, while keeping its current management in place.

This expansion gives Zollner a stronger foothold in Southeast Asia, alongside its locations in China.

Bluechips’ founder, Thomas Zimpfer, sees this as a way to secure growth for his team. Zollner’s Markus Aschenbrenner believes it’s a major step in expanding both companies’ reach in Asia.
