Elon Musk's X has dropped Unilever from its lawsuit accusing advertisers of an "illegal boycott" of the platform.

The lawsuit, initially filed against several companies and organizations, alleged they conspired to withhold advertising due to safety concerns.

X announced it had "reached an agreement" with Unilever and would continue their partnership. The case still includes CVS, Mars, and Ørsted, and targeted the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA), which had led industry efforts to improve platform safety.

Following the lawsuit, GARM, a WFA initiative, ceased operations.
