Jollibee Group Acquires Tim Ho Wan
Jollibee continues its push into international markets, adding another Michelin-recognized brand to its portfolio
Jollibee Group is taking full ownership of Tim Ho Wan. Already holding a 92% stake, Jollibee Worldwide Pte. Ltd. (JWPL), a subsidiary of Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC), will pay $14.8 million to acquire the remaining 8% interest.
This move comes through an agreement with a subsidiary of Titan Dining LP, making Jollibee Group the sole owner of Tim Ho Wan Holdings, the brand’s parent company.
Tim Ho Wan, famous for its affordable, Michelin-starred dim sum and known globally for items like its Barbecue Pork Buns, was founded in 2009 by chefs Mak Kwai-pui and Leung Fai-keung.
Now with 80 locations in 11 countries, Tim Ho Wan serves as Jollibee Group's flagship Chinese cuisine brand.
The chain recently opened flagship stores in Singapore and Hong Kong, expanding its reach and reinforcing its reputation for quality, accessible dim sum.
With this acquisition, Jollibee continues its push into international markets, adding another Michelin-recognized brand to its portfolio and strengthening its global presence in Asian dining.
