Huawei Rises To Top 4

Huawei is now the world’s fourth-largest tablet maker beating Amazon and Lenovo.

Huawei is rising fast. Now the world’s fourth-largest tablet maker, it saw 44.1% year-on-year growth in Q3 2024, shipping 3.3 million units and capturing 8.2% of the market.

This jump comes from Huawei’s focus on budget and professional models, with the MatePad SE 11 especially popular.

Apple still leads with 12.6 million units shipped, holding 31.8% market share, followed by Samsung with 7.1 million units. Amazon and Lenovo rounded out the top 5.

Overall, the tablet market grew 20.4% in Q3, totalling 39.6 million units. Experts say AI-driven features will likely boost consumer interest in future tablets.
